I'm being prompted to complete a different SafeSport course then I should be

Player's Health, via the PH Protect platform, has a direct integration with the U.S. Center for SafeSport to make the process of completing abuse awareness training even easier. No more navigating to 3-4 different sites to complete safety training requirements. Your organization is utilizing PH for a reason!

 

Whether you are a part of a National Governing Body under the USOPC or your organization is choosing to utilize SafeSport training, the most common curriculum is a 4-course training in which one course is completed once a year over 4 years:

 

  1. Core SafeSport training course - approximately 90 minutes
  2. Refresher 1 - approximately 30 minutes
  3. Refresher 2 - approximately 30 minutes
  4. Refresher 3 - approximately 30 minutes

 

If you have never completed SafeSport training before then you will be prompted to create an account and then will be taken directly into the Core training course. If you have completed SafeSport training in the previous year, please ensure you are utilizing the same email address you have used to login to SafeSport in the past in order to be presented the proper course. The system will first try to link you to your current SafeSport progress via your email address; it may also use personal identifying information such as name, zip code, or DOB if it cannot locate you via email address. Should it still fail to find an account then you will be prompted to create a new account and start training from the first core course. 

 

Should you find the system is not locating your existing SafeSport profile, or you feel you are being prompted with the incorrect training course when your profile is found, you can reach out to PH support via the Contact Us page to submit a support request. By selecting the Player's Health Protect (Risk Management) category, you will be prompted with the option to select SafeSport as your concern, which will help our team more efficiently assist.

 

 

 

 

Please note that, while there is a direct integration with the Center for SafeSport, the Player's Health team may have limited capabilities to verify an existing SafeSport user profile. You may be directed to reach out to the Center for SafeSport support team directly if PH is unable to assist in the first line of assistance.
