In the case where a coach may have been background check from another organization and inquires whether your organization can accept that background check, the unfortunate answer is no.  Not all background checks search the same databases or run county checks and your organization will want to follow it's background check policy on the search components of a background check.  Further, that organization who ran the background check on the coach is not at liberty by the Fair Credit Reporting Act to share the results with other entities.
