Discount codes for background checks

The PH Protect platform allows organizations to determine if they are going to cover the cost of background checks for their members or if the user (coach, referee, volunteer, etc.) will be required to pay for their own background check. 

 

For some organizations, they may have a unique case in which they want or need to cover the cost of the background check for one member, or even a small subset of members rather than the entire membership as a whole. For some larger organizations, you may have select member clubs within your program that wants to cover the cost for their members (see example below for reference). For instances like these, Player's Health offers the option to purchase discount codes.

 

**Note: discount codes are only applicable when the default setting/process for an organization's background checks is 'user pay.' If you are an organization that covers the cost for ALL members then this is not relevant to you

 

Example when discount codes are purchased: when a state, national, or any governing body is utilizing PH Protect it is common for users to cover the cost of their own background check. The governing body may have select leagues, clubs, or teams that want to cover the cost of the background checks specifically for their members. In this case, the league, club, or team in question can pre-purchase discount codes from Player's Health

 

 

 

To purchase discount codes for manual distribution, any league, club, or team admin can do so from the main Player's Health website via Contact Us HERE. As the screenshot above shows, the Contact Us page not only allows you or any of your members to submit a help request (support ticket), there is also a unique link to fill out a short form requesting discount codes for pre-purchase. 

 

Upon submitting this request via the form on the Contact Us page, you will receive confirmation from the PH team that your request was received, and will work with you to complete the request.

 

Please note that invoices are required to be paid in full prior to the discount codes being distributed. The electronic invoices do allow payment to be submitted electronically via ACH or credit card. If you have any questions or need further clarification after submitting your request you can interact directly via the support ticket created, and a member of our support team will promptly advise. Once payment is received via the electronic invoice, your discount code will be generated, activated, and sent back to you via the ticket created with your request.

 

At present, there are two ways to verify the number of codes that have been used:

  1. export a report of your members from the compliance dashboard in PH Protect - a column labeled "promo code used" will be present; sort by "Yes" to sum the quantity used
  2. Contact customer support via the Contact Us page; submit a ticket to inquire about the number of codes used for your organization and our support team will verify and confirm for you
